Chris has been alive since 1977 and tattooing professionally since 1999.  After a decade plus working in Flint, he opened Royalty Tattoo Parlour in Durand in 2011 to continue honing his craft.  

Specializing in tattoos rooted in the American traditional style, Chris employs an array of stylistic and technical influences in his work. When not at the shop, he can be found at home with his family,  working on vintage Vespa scooters, or scouring grocery stores for the latest and greatest items to eat and share with his clients.​

Nick has been tattooing at Royalty since 2018, following an apprenticeship under Chris Hornus. Rooted in American traditional, his tattoos incorporate strong, dynamic, and visually pleasing imagery along with a variety of unique compositional elements. When not at the shop, Nick is most likely hanging out at home with his wife, pup, and cats. Working on paintings, tinkering with tattoo machines or his old VW Beetle, and watching anything Tim Robinson on repeat.

Jeremy has been a professional tattooer since 1998. His tattoo career began in NYC, and eventually led him Durand MI. His proficiency in various styles of tattooing, from traditional tattoos, large scale Japanese pieces, portraits, and black & grey, make Jeremy a valuable addition to the Royalty family.

He is a part time record spinner, and a full time sharp dresser. As a self proclaimed cheese aficionado, he never leaves home without a pocket full of Babybels.
